Every month the Green Mountain Cabaret brings you a well-manicured revue every single month. We know you enjoy seeing the hard work we put into every detail but this month we are throwing caution to the wind and going all in. A select few audience members will help us run our show by taking a spin on the wheel of Burlesque Roulette. We will not know who will come to the stage next at Club Metronome, but the results will have you sit up and Enjoy the View.
On this night, we embrace the glitz and glamour of 42nd Street. Take a trip to our South Pacific and head Into the Woods with the Sugar Shakers as they trod the boards of Club Metronome and relive their favorite numbers from Broadway past and present. Sing their praises from the rooftops and Enjoy the View from the best seats in the house. Our hills are alive, with the sound of musicals.
Step right in to the greatest display of sensual fauna the world has ever seen. The Sugar Shakers channel their glittery spirit animals and give the audience a display that a peacock would blush if they saw. Come release your animalistic side with us as we prove that even in Burlesque, we rely on our sexy instincts. Come down to Club Metronome and Enjoy the View from inside our gilded cage.
The first two words in our Cabaret are Green Mountain. Vermont Grown, and Vermont inspired, we shine our spotlight on the sexier side of the 14th state. Come up to the Sugar Shakers, Sugar Shack. Put on your flannel thongs and organically harvested pasties. Then take a run through our double black diamonds. Green Mountain Cabaret salutes the place that made us who we are. Take a stroll through the heaving hills of Vermont with us at Club Metronome, and as always, Enjoy the View.

Green Mountain Cabaret is joining forces with Colchester Mead Hall to bring you a night of drink, feast, and sexy Viking themed fun that will rival the mead halls of Valhalla! So grab your axe and your favorite berzerker or shield maiden and cross the rainbow bridge to the Asgardian location Colchester of Colchester Mead Hall for an evening that will be sung of in the Norse Sagas for all time.

Green Mountain Cabaret is having open auditions for stage kats (our stagehand apprentices), and hosts for our cabaret shows. Auditions are at the Vermont Ballet Theater School in Shelburne.
Auditions will occur from 2pm to 3pm EST
Auditions will happen simultaneously in separate rehearsal rooms.
No preparation needed, just bring yourself, a bottle of water, and be ready to move! We suggest wearing workout/yoga clothes and either bare feet or dance shoes/flats (no street shoes or heels in the audition rooms).
Previous dance experience recommended for troupe dancers, but not required for kat spots. Previous hosting experience or improvising experience also recommended for host auditions but not required. All body types and genders welcome! Must be 18+!

The Pride Parade is almost here! It begins at the South End of Church St. and ends at Battery Park where the festival is held!
This weekend also serves as The Pride Festival and basically is one big party celebrating where the LGBTQ community is, how far we've come and where we're heading. Gender Pride will be one of the main events and it will be featuring Keynote Speaker Julia Serano. Its tone has evolved over the years, and today the festival is a place for the entire community – LGBTQ and allies – of all ages, races, and backgrounds. Food is available, as well as entertainment, games, and the best people-watching in Burlington. Don’t miss it! Please make sure to visit Northern Decadence!
