Alice Von Derland
With the grin of a Cheshire cat and the quirkiness of a Doormouse, Alice has been delighting burlesque audiences since 2012. She is currently a kitten with the Green Mountain Cabaret. The Bookworm of Burlesque uses her curious mind, literary sensibilities, and comic timing to tell the stories of obscure and often misunderstood characters.
Alice has a background in ballet, jazz, and ballet folklorico from Mexico. Her Muggle job of librarian has taught her storytelling skills and adds to the catalog of literary characters she portrays. She has performed at many venues in Vermont including Green Mountain Cabaret, Viva Vermont Burlesque, Glitter and Duct Tape, Untapped, and the Vermont Burlesque Festival.
